Rotary Clubs across the district have mobilized volunteers and resources to provide rapid, coordinated relief.
Immediate Response (Phase 01)
- Distribution of cooked food
- Distribution of dry ration packs
- Clean drinking water delivery
- Hygiene & sanitation kits
- Emergency medical support in partnership with local clinics
Ongoing Support (Phase 02)
- Replenishing essential supplies in the most affected areas
- Providing temporary shelter support
- Assistance for schools and community centres used as emergency camps
Hygiene & Menstrual Health Training: Delivery of training programs focused on hygiene and menstrual health to improve overall wellbeing.
Long-term Rehabilitation (Phase 03)
- Home repair assistance
- School rehabilitation
- Restoration of livelihood tools (agriculture, fisheries, self-employment)
- Community rebuilding projects through Rotary clubs
- Clean Water (2,500 wells have been contaminated in one district alone, urgent need for technology based clean water solutions)
- Gender-Sensitive Toilets
