Rotary District 3220 – Emergency Action Plan

Rotary Clubs across the district have mobilized volunteers and resources to provide rapid, coordinated relief.

Immediate Response (Phase 01)

  • Distribution of cooked food
  • Distribution of dry ration packs
  • Clean drinking water delivery
  • Hygiene & sanitation kits
  • Emergency medical support in partnership with local clinics

Ongoing Support (Phase 02)

  • Replenishing essential supplies in the most affected areas
  • Providing temporary shelter support
  • Assistance for schools and community centres used as emergency camps

Hygiene & Menstrual Health Training: Delivery of training programs focused on hygiene and menstrual health to improve overall wellbeing.

Long-term Rehabilitation (Phase 03)

  • Home repair assistance
  • School rehabilitation
  • Restoration of livelihood tools (agriculture, fisheries, self-employment)
  • Community rebuilding projects through Rotary clubs
  • Clean Water (2,500 wells have been contaminated in one district alone, urgent need for technology based clean water solutions)
  • Gender-Sensitive Toilets
